Privacy Policy
Effex Asistan (“Effex”, “we”, “us”) is a business finance assistant that helps organizations track payments, reminders, documents, and related financial records. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your privacy choices.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers users of the Effex Asistan iOS/Android apps and the Effex web product. Effex is intended for business use. Organization administrators may control member access and organizational data.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Effex, we may collect:
- Contact info: name, email address, phone number, and business contact details you enter (for example counterparties).
- Account identifiers: user ID and device identifiers such as push notification tokens and device name.
- Financial information: payment amounts, due dates, statuses, bank/card labels (including last four digits where provided), loan/check records, Findeks reports you upload, and related notes.
- User content: documents and files you explicitly select for import or upload (via the system document picker — the mobile app does not request broad photo-library access), and other content you submit in the product. Voice/audio may be processed when you use WhatsApp voice notes or optional web voice features; the mobile app does not require microphone permission for core use.
- Support and security data: authentication events and information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
3. How we use data
We use collected data for app functionality, including to:
- create and authenticate accounts;
- provide payment tracking, reminders, notifications, and summaries;
- process imports and AI-assisted document/voice understanding;
- deliver WhatsApp/email/push alerts you or your organization enable;
- prevent fraud, secure the service, and provide customer support.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, developer advertising/marketing tracking, or cross-app tracking as defined by Apple.
4. Third-party processors
We use service providers that process data on our behalf to operate Effex (for example cloud hosting/database, push notification delivery, AI speech/document processing, and messaging providers). These processors act under our instructions and are not authorized to use your data for their own advertising.
5. Sharing
We share data only as needed to:
- provide the service to your organization and authorized members;
- operate with processors described above;
- comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
When you delete your account from the app (Profile → Delete account), we remove or anonymize your personal account data promptly (typically immediately; within at most 30 days for residual backups). Organization financial records, documents, and audit trails belong to the business workspace and are retained according to the organization’s needs and applicable law (for example tax or fraud-prevention obligations).
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices
You can manage privacy choices as described on our User Privacy Choices page, including notification permissions and requests related to your account data.
- In-app account deletion (required path): open Profile → Delete account in the Effex Asistan mobile app (or Profile on the web). This initiates permanent deletion of your personal account without requiring a support email.

9. Children
Effex is a business product and is not directed to children under 16.
10. International users
If you access Effex from outside Türkiye, your information may be processed in countries where we or our processors operate.

12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Effex after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
